Kickoff 2025

Hey Warriors! Hope everyone had a great winter break, Golden Warrior Robotics is back and ready to dive into another year of innovation, collaboration, and determination. The season started off strong with Kickoff on January 4th, where our warriors strategized their plans for the 2025 FIRST Robotics season game, Reefscape. The theme of the game revolves around the idea of teams working in alliances to remove algae and place coral on the reef to maximize their points. With the theme of the game in mind, members of various subteams came together to begin brainstorming ideas for robot designs, game strategy, and ensuring overall success for the team. Planning for the release of the game goes beyond technical skills and connects our team as a whole by working together to achieve a common goal. The majority of our team attended this all-day event for the reveal of the game during the holidays. Kickoff was an important moment for many people within our department, some even considered it as “the highlight of the robotic season” (Sanil Apte). This year, our team is committed to pushing our boundaries and exceeding expectations to create something extraordinary.
