The electrical team has made significant progress through many trials and errors. A battery testing project has been completed to figure out “which chargers are better to use during competition season” (Komal K). This project will help our team efficiently charge our robot during its downtime. On the CAD team they have been divided into 3 different teams to take on different projects like designing the intake, battery cart, and robot cart. The robot cart is used to transport the robot around and its design is almost complete. The battery cart holds the batteries making it easy to switch and it has been completed. On the bot there are several subunits to make up the components of it. Intake “subsystem on the bot that takes up the real piece”(Faizaan S).

On Saturday December 7th from the Golden Warrior Robotics team partnered with Biscuit Robotics and hosted a VEX IQ tournament at Jordan High School. We had a total of 31 elementary and junior high teams participate in this competition where they built robots and competed in alliances.

On December 6th, 4 of our team members went to Shafer Elementary to teach kids in the special education/life skills program about robotics and STEM through EV3 robots! The kids got to interact with and observe the robots, and We had a great time introducing more students to the world of robotics. Golden Warrior Robotics strives for inclusivity and aims to introduce young minds with avid interests into the world of robotics.
