We are the Golden Warriors Robotics Team (Team 8576) of Jordan High School, founded in Fulshear, Texas, in 2020. We as an enthusiastic student body are committed to empowering the next generation of STEM innovators by providing a permanent platform for everyone interested in math, science, technology, engineering, and robotics, as well as by encouraging teamwork and a passion for the topic. Our team is more than just an extracurricular activity. We aim to build a community of like-minded individuals. We have had incredible success since our founding earning several honorary awards and qualifying for the FIRST World Championship in only our second year.

This is our team update blog. We’ll be posting weekly every Tuesday providing various updates about our progress ranging from our robot to outreach and fundraising events.

Robotics is an interactive and fast paced field that combines elements of science, technology, engineering, and math to design machines that can perform intricate tasks. These robots are capable of doing a wide range of jobs, from performing surgical procedures to using your microwave to make a snack after school. It focuses on human and technological interactions to create new and innovative solutions.
As the Golden Warrior Robotic Team, robotics is more than just machinery , it’s about building a strong community and the lessons that will last us a lifetime. Shared experiences and hands-on experience not only allows us to gain knowledge about technology, but also teaches us the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. These principles will provide us with a strong foundation and guide us in our professional and personal lives.
